Problem with missing images on site??

Hi guys, I'm having a problem that is driving me crazy. I have searched and can't find anything.

Images on my sites are mostly there but then a few days or a day later a few go missing. Then I do a ctrl+f5 refresh and the image shows up. Then a day later the same image or another one will not show up until I press ctrl+f5 again.

has anyone seen this or know the fix?

It's happening in all browser so I leaning towards something in my .htaccess file or is there something with my host and caching? I moved these sites from hostgator where I never had this problem to a new host.

Sounds simple but clear your cache.

Turn off AdBlocker in your browser?

Only on your domain?

Or, from the same server?

I would think that if it was a browser or cache issue other sites that you visit frequently would have the same issues.

Maybe this can help you.

Sounds like a cache issue specific to this new host you are using.

What sites, are they blogs with images linking to other sites not on your own server?

Are the images you're own, are the image names usual? :2 cents:

Yes, only my sites I visit have this issue. Most are wordpress but have seen it happen with images on a straight html site.
I don't think it would be my browser since I've tried multiple browsers and it happens with all of them and it only seems to happen on my sites.

I'm thinking htaccess file or something with the host server but they say everything is fine on there end and wouldn't other people that use them complain about the same thing?

Yes, I did that and the image shows up when I press ctrl+f5 but then a few days later another image won't load until I press ctrl+f5 again.

It could be the problem with Apache or your hosting.
