Flipboard comes to the web
 

Flipboard, the newsreading app that has amassed 50 million monthly users on mobile devices, arrives today on the web. On the bigger screen, Flipboard is big, beautiful, and responsive. In moving to the desktop, Flipboard hopes to open up a big new avenue of distribution. But can a mobile app like Flipboard win millions of new fans on the web, or is the company building for the past?

And, yes, that's the best news in the RSS section since Google had closed the Reader.

An afterthought of the web, how nice a fuck was given.

Let me disagree on this. Flipboard, as far as i'm concerned, doesn't let you import RSS feeds...it just asks you what you are interested about and, based on that, builds sort of a magazine.

The best RSS reader is Feedly since Google Reader disappeared. :)

Never heard of Flipboard but it sounds like pinterest.
