I have seen a few episodes of those types of shows and I often wonder why people would choose that life for themselves. They all seem a bit mentally ill.

Have to admit I am also hooked. Got to give anyone credit who can go out in the middle of fucking nowhere, raise a family and then have them do all your shit for you. Dude is the Alaskan king pin.

Hopefully they get their house built by winter. At this rate its not looking to good.

I'm really feeling this show. I grew up in Washington state, not to different from Alaska, just a lot less remote. Great show so far :thumbsup
