Indeed, it really is if done properly. Though for me, I'd need to have a solid top as the lights would more distraction than anything else to me. Beyond that, it's a great use of space.

But it does not have apple sticker, I am proud of you recognizing it anyway.

I have the "ghetto" version of that. The motherboard and PSU is attached to the side of my desk, open air.

A case is just a heat and dust collector, but I see why most people need them.

I've been using the same desk since 2004 or so, and you can tell exactly where the mouse is used. I can only imagine what glass would be like.

Like I said, it's ghetto...but gets the job done. I had to do some part swapping a few days ago, so my cable management is chaos right now.

It's mounted to the side of the my standing desk, with the PSu on the bottom and my water cooler radiator at the top. The hard drive bays (around six 2.5 incher hybrids) is mounted to the opposite side. I like it this way because it's easy to make upgrades. There's some dust on the fan housings, but it's not nearly as bad as the inside of my cased systems.

But this isn't for most people who need the computer to look pretty, or be portable. It's utilitarian and I'm the only person who has to look at this monstrosity.
