Unique Titles & Description Same as Meta?
Hey guys,
if I create unique title and description for videos, will this roughly be doing the same as adding an additional unique meta title and meta description? Or is it better to have two sets of unique titles and descriptions as seen below. Video 1 Title: Best of A 2014 Description: Let's take a look at the best of A during 2014 Meta Title: All time best of A in 2014 Meta Description: Let's see the all time best of A in 2014 Something like this? Or would the standard title and description, if unique, be doing the same as the meta? Thanks! |
There is no meta title and there is no description, only meta description.
Meta description is a brief description of the page. To my experience, the best SEO way is text on the page itself (<h1> tag). Most important is that you MUST have text on a page. |
The most important is page <title>.
Meta description has no SEO ranking power, but it impacts CTR on SERPs. H1 tag text has some SEO weight and it needs to be similar to <title>, but not exactly the same. But without a proper on-page text (1 paragraph of relevant copy at least) you will hardly have any decent results. |

The most important thing is to have unique meta title for each of your page/posts.
