How Important In Guaranteed Bandwidth? (VPS)

Lets say the VPS has reasonable specs and you get a guaranteed bandwidth 10 Mbps.

I assume that is reasonable.

However, some Asian hosts give you a guaranteed bandwidth of 1 Mbps - how does this affect performance?

Sorry if this is a stupid question here.

10Mbps means 1.25 MegaBytes per second network speed max at any time or 3TB of monthly bandwidth if you manage to use it 100% (if you need 100% you should get something better).

1Mbps is pretty low these days...

Sure but does 1Mbps mean that my websites on the VPS would be served slowly?

What about 2Mbps?

I just checked and our dedicated server is 1Gbps.

Obviously 1mbps is tiny comparatively but how will it affect pure html sites serving?
