Well, I am not that big fan of respecting any flag, although not inrespecting either. It is a fucking flag. This flag issue in anyway is very shallow patriotism. Nice to have one, but at the end it is just a flag.

Sort of was thinking the same thing. The whole world is upset over their actions but lets demonize our old enemy. Sort of an Iran type move.

A flag is not just a piece of cloth. It represent all the people of that country. Our culture, our values, etc.

So the russians basically shit on and disrespect all the Americans.

I'll give you the simple run down as to why Americans don't care what others think. It's because almost no other country has any impact on our daily lives. Russia out side of seeing the Ukraine coverage on the news has next to zero impact on daily life in the US.

Meanwhile the US has a lot of impact on your life, if for nothing else we are who your govt uses to demonize in order that you don't get pissed off at how shitty your govt is.

Ever notice that? No where is there a front page tab on any US News site giving "Russia" a section. Russia is just mixed in with Eastern Europe or Europe it's self with news reporting..

Meanwhile go to RT.com and what do you see? The second tab is US, the third is UK. Why is that? Because RT is a Russian govt propaganda mouth piece and they want you to see all the horrible things the West has done to cause you to live in your mud hut and burn American flags. They want you to be angry at everyone else so Putin and his cronies and continue to rape your country..

To the people that did that, the flag is a piece of cloth they can bully around to piss off people thousands of miles away. Shows they have no respect for others and we all know they want to move to the US.
As for me, it's a symbol of why I served in the military.
What they are doing doesn't surprise me, it's when they come to this country and fly their flag is when I want to see some flag burning.
