SEMRUSH users can you help out?
Signed up for this service yesterday and I am learning the system. Some questions.
1. How often do you do a site audit? Can you do it too much? Does it hurt your site at all? Do you audit your competitors sites? or just research keywords with them. 2. What is a good overall number to shoot for in a site audit. For instance mine is 47% 3. Is there any person who uses it who actually has no errors, issues, warnings or notices? Seems like that will never happen for me with how many I have. 4. What are the most important issues to fix first to make the site better. ie. broken outbound links, image alt tags, titles etc. Thanks. |
I would start with titles and dup page content.
If the OB are oint to your other sites , then they are important |
No one else uses SEM rush? Damn!

I would ask people from SemRush.com first.

Great beginner questions, i just wanted to be a valid point for you to reference. I'll give you some great tools to do your audits and how often etc.
1. weekly audits (webmaster tools top pages and query traffic) monthly (check core pages and progress) quarterly (go REEEEEAAAAAAAL deep into every facet of the landing pages, positions in serp, individual pages - image, video, textual content) You can't possibly need more than that unless you like watching paint dry 2. Try to be perfect, you'll never be BUT trying to be as compliant with Google is going to take you places. . .Like out of GFY 3. If you find someone with zero errors, trap him/her carefully, they must be brought in for examination 4. all issues are relevant, 404's, broken links, or anything that would lead a search visitor back to the search page. Don't forget mobile.. I'll just leave it to that .. Hit me up if you have any real concerns! Cheers to noobs! |
