Who are the "old" people of GFY showing their "age" with their inability to grasp 21st century tech?
This seems to be an ongoing thing around here. There are a lot of "vets" from the board that are still stuck in the 90s/2000s. People that just don't get the fact that shit is forever evolving around them every single day, every minute of those days. I know that it hurts to realize that shit changes and you do not have the UMPH or mental capacity to realize it.
Who do you think is the most clueless mother fucker around here? |

Seriously if you're talking about someone that can take their groceries to the supermarket check out and do the math in their head then that person is me. Otherwise I'll just say that 21st century tech is pretty much just repackaged 20th century tech. They took our clock, telephone, camera, computer, etc and stuck them all in a cell phone. It's over priced throw away plastic shit and if you look at the videos that men today are stroking their dicks to you'll find that it'is throw away shit too. Someone might have a plastic Apple designed made in China Deathstar in their editing bay but that don't make them an artist or their videos beautiful. Just my $.02 |

The thing that chapes my fat ass is how companies - Apple, Microsoft, whoever - FORCE you to upgrade even when your phone, device, iPod or whatever is perfectly fine. How many people HATE giving up their cherished phone for a shittier, more expensive, harder to read and use one? Not me, and not most people I know. Maybe kids want the latest toys every 3 seconds but they don't have any money anyway so fuck 'em. LOL So I hate it when companies MAKE me change simply because of their profit margins and bottom line, not to HELP me or make the device "better" but simply to get more moolah out of me. |

Because after all, It's the same people I've been talking to on the phone for the last 20 years. And any new people I talk to say pretty much the same things as the old ones. The Internet hasn't really changed in the last 20 years except to get faster and heavier in bullshit. The trolls just multiply, the theft gets worst every day, freeloaders are the average surfer and the con artists are the norm. So given all that why do I need to spend money to "upgrade" the device when what clearly needs it is the people. |
