Need New Smart Phone - Suggestions!
 

OK, I have had the iPhone 5 for 2 years and the contract is up. I want a new phone and I want to get away from the iPhone!

I am looking for a solid phone...build quality IS important to me...no cheap feeling as I want it to last.

I also DO NOT like BIG phones. I want to stick with about the same size as the iPhone 5 as I carry my phone in my front jeans pocket.

I am sure that some of you have the same preferences that I do so please tell me what you recommend!

Galaxy S6 comes out soon. I'd wait and see how that looks. It will be good, but will it be a nice piece of hardware and or decent specs in plastic crap that Samsung is known for?

Stick with an iPhone. Everything else is just cheap knock-off. Every android user knows this, and hate themselves for every buying one. It's true! You can see them wanting to kill themselves every time they dare take it out of their pocket. They wanted to be cool - they really did - but they failed. They try to compensate for their extremely depression and displeasure by calling iPhone users "fanboys", but it does little to hide their shame, and their pain. Yearn much they do, to be one with the in-crowd in line at an Apple store. But yearn is all they can do. The pain is too great. Android users can't have sex anymore. They cry themselves to sleep, and sleep-in late. Every day is raining in their world. They wander around aimlessly, endlessly, wondering, wishing, wanting. The "want" is so intense and so extreme that they can hardly stand it and that some day soon, they may begin to hurt themselves, and hurt others.

Stay happy. Stay with iPhone.

Though I suggested the Galaxy S6, I still believe in this statement above.

Then by all means take a look at the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact. I have it and i'm super happy with it. Build quality is all there, it's not big at all (less than 5"), battery lasts almost two days with an intensive use... and the price is not high either.

The Samsung Galaxy Note II did great. I still have one.

As candyflip said Galaxy S6 is certain to be launched soon (1st March). Of course you would need to wait a little more until you could put your hands on the device. Rumors say that this time S6 will have a metal uni-body !

I think iOS has a retarded user interface that is only appealing to retarded people. But that is just me.

So..have you seen the launch of the new Samsung devices? S6 and Edge..worth having a thought about it :)

if you type decent amount of text (emails, sms) - BB Classic is unbeatable. Build quality very good. And BB OS 10 is top notch. Plus you can use droid apps if you are app junkie.

iPhone 5/5s is the most perfect size and shape phone. I like the 6, but I still love the 5s.

My nephew was visiting last week and he had the Samsung S5 and let me play with it, and I'm in love with that thing and gotta get one now. I been using the S3 past couple of years and its been the best smartphone I've had so far, and I used to be an IPhone user.

Used to be a sheep, now you think on your own :thumbsup
Although samsung phones are usually loaded with lots of bloatware.
