Birdman was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Why does everyone like it so much?

Saw it with a friend and we were both bored out of our minds. Was excited to see it based on the great score on Rotten Tomatoes then I couldn't stay awake through it. We ended up walking out.

WHY do people love this boring movie so much? :helpme:helpme

its michael keaton. from gung ho to beetlejuice to batman, somehow this guy makes terrible movies interesting. i dont get it either.
