That movie is one of the best ever made, despite its flaws - doesn't belong with some of these others. Ridley still has formidable powers and his movies still can't be topped for atmosphere. PK Dick has inspired several movies, and is one of the most original SF authors of all time. I'd see BR2 10 times. "I make friends".

Its actually amazing how many Rutger Hauer movies there are out there. Almost all total and complete shit, but they all got made, mostly of the back his role in this movie....

In fact one of the very few films that were so dark that it was a bit disturbing.

I am not sure you could or should do another one to that.

The asian kid from the goonies looks almost the same today as he did then.

Can't believe it took this long for some of them. If done right there's no reason why a few can't be worth seeing. Will Keaton be in Beetlejuice 2 I wonder? His career does seem to be making a bit of a comeback lately.

Actually I heard its stuck in limbo. The original director was supposed to return but he died recently and the movie on hold. Too bad! Top Gun returned to the theatres here and played in IMAX last year for a week. Still a really fun movie. And the music and sound - wow.

They should leave that movie alone. It's the best Science Fiction movie of all time. Don't ruin it with a cheesy sequel.
