Anyone's CCBill checks late lately?
I've been getting CCBill checks for 10 years now. I get 3 per week, many have been late here and there before. Sometimes by up to a week. Often I'll get 1 or 2 checks and than 1 shows up a day or two later. But THEY ALWAYS show up. However I'm missing my checks from 3 weeks ago.
Usually they come Monday-Wednesday for me here in Canada. I got period 02-08 to 02-14 today. And period 02-01 to 02-07 came yesterday finally (1 full week late). But I'm still missing period 01-25 to 01-31. I emailed CCBill. They claim no delays or mail issues. They can cancel and reconcile them next Tuesday at a cost of $20 per check ($60 outta my pocket). I just feel like I'll tell them to go ahead and the checks will show up the next day. Just wondering if anyone else ( Specially in Canada ) has had any delays lately and maybe with that period? YES I Know I should change to wires. ($30 per wire) and I like getting paid weekly vs monthly. THANKS FUCKERS! |
Are you able to combine the accounts and request a wire twice a month? That would be a $60 cost, but you would have the money instantly and no fussing with checks. I don't know what mail is like from the United States to Canada, but from Canada to the United States is pretty slow in my experience.

Yea, they can combine them. And I think eventually I will do that. (monthly rather than bi-weekly. 3 Checks @ $1.15 x 4 weeks is $13.80. So 1 wire per month is only an extra $15). I kinda like going to the bank once a week :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh the tellers are hot :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh but it does suck on extended vacations or when they get lost like this. |
i got one yesterday

Mine came.

I'm thinking more than anything its the delivery ( system ) and not the senders.
But you never know. |

Now I see why I got three extra checks not in my name last week...

I once was on on contract to deliver the mail and lost keys to trunk...found 'em a week or two later...some late ccbill cheques for some peeps, sorry.
Then there was the big gust of wind that sent letters everywhere (not me), and sometimes (amazingly) letters could get wrapped around the inside back of the mail sorting case. I switched routes a couple of times and found some of those ancient letters jammed in like that, though ccbill is a bit stiff for that to happen. Lots of missorts too if you happen to live in one of those cutesie hoods where street names are themed and addresses are the same. At 8 seconds or less per piece of mail to sort, 1447 Silversmith looks much like 1474 Silversmock, especially if they line up one on top of each other in mail case. Then there is the possibility that some nut job is looking for passports and whacked an unsuspecting postie over the head and fucked off with the mail. Not me, but some nice lady I worked with got it good. Or, you could have Cindy Henry delivering your mail. Ottawa was on the phone twice a week wondering where she put her mail. lol After 2.5 years of doing that I spent 4.5 years in the woods The King style...needed it. That said, mine usually get here between Tuesday and Thursday. |
honestly this bullshit with checks is fucking retarded. what year is this? did CCBill not get the memo on ACH?
http://media-1.web.britannica.com/eb...4-0303CD27.jpg the only alternative is a 30 dollar wire. do they get mail from the post office? do they understand that when the post office mal-performs it reflects on CCBill? what do they care, they get paid first. :upsidedow |

A check was late last week then I found it slipped under my door! I am assuming the mailman did that, or perhaps a neighbor.
Switch to wires, deduct the cost for taxes. |
I got mine this week...

WOO!
98.2% of the time, posting on gfy asking about your 3 week late checks makes them show up the next day every time! Glad I didn't ask for reconcile yesterday. Us Postage stamp Feb 5th 2015. Exactly 1 month for the USPS and Canada to move some letters. THANKS OBAMA! |
