Why do you think it would be better or cheaper than just going to a local promo/print shop?

My piece of advice: good luck.

Well, for seriously, there is shit load of risks. Risk management is really what the importing from China really is. Global Sources has some good articles, read some.

Are you dumb all the time or only half?

I live in asia and go to China every couple months. If you are only getting a few thousand made perhaps alAlibaba is good for you. If you truly need to contract a factory to make them for you i would suggest going there or at least having an agent present to check quality. Once it leaves the factory. .. you would have little recourse if it was all wrong.

Why not get high quality American made footballs made by unionized American workers? Why do you hate America?

sandman! 03-05-2015 07:04 PM

how many do you need ?

if its a small run might not be cheaper then getting it done locally :2 cents::2 cents::2 cents:

Bc. I'm giving them away for free and I have a budget. The more I can hand out the more money I can make.

If I can buy the same goods per dollar in US, sure let's have at it.

All I know is shipping can be a real bitch.

You have to coordinate a container to maximum capacity if your talking bulk.

Personally, I would go locally. Especially with all the branding companies out there. Buy the footballs separately and ship them directly to whomever will brand them.

Shipping containers are a bitch.

baggg 03-06-2015 02:34 AM

Use aliexpress for smaller qty,its much safer than alibaba but a bit more pricey. You will find suppliers that can brand products for you.

What do you mean? You have one (or more) container for your stuff, or you share one with others (when loading it optimally is not your problem). You know, shipping by container or by parcel. And the manufacturer usually tells how many of that product you can have in one container, so you take it into account when ordering. If container takes lets say 5000 products, you don't order 5001.

Most likely would be a better option to have them done in Mexico. Getting them delivered would also most likely cost less.

China is done/ Viet Nam is where it is at/

This is what I was saying.. Not to mention they wont end up getting "stuck" in customs for 6 months..

FreeHugeMovies 03-06-2015 10:40 AM

Print a picture and hand them out instead, customs and tariff will eat that dollar faster then that....like others have said, Mexico may be an option?
