Couldn't understand the lyrics.

But the gal can definitely sing.

One of my favorite movie music pieces of all time. Actually that's just one of many in that movie.

Actually every damn thing Ennio Morricone has ever done touches the sky. I have a hard time with movies he scores, because often he not only improves - blows the movie - to another level, but blows it away. All you come away with is the music, not the movie...

Luckily, Sergione Leone was his equal, visually, and they just kinda created a rapture when they worked together.

Absolutely... it hits me in some weird deep part inside where I can't explain. I have the same reaction at some concerts where we the crowd has as much dynamic reaction with the band as the band pushes to us. Some Dead shows and such had that effect on me. I know it might sound pussy, but there it is. Some musical experiences trigger a very powerful effect in me.

It's not sad tears. It's... just tears. Like when older people experience new year's eve, I guess, I can't explain it, just one of those things...

The last spine tingle I got from a performance was this girl, Ali Brustofski.

It seriously helped restore my faith that there's some talented kids in the next generation.

Sergio Leone is a thief, he ripped off most of his stories from Akira Kurosawa without even crediting him.
:helpme
Don't get me wrong: I do enjoy watching a good old Leone western from time to time but the guy's a crook.

A Fistful of Dollars (1964) - IMDb

What would the Charles Bronson vs Henry Fonda showdown be without that music? Still good, but that music makes it great.

ok yes he did borrow the theme and tale of Fistful of Dollars from Kurosawa. He said so. He paid Kurosawa what he owed him. Done deal.

Yeah it is beyond comprehension.

Still, it's the shortest showdown in history. Especially compared to The Good The Bad and The Ugly... buuuut it is fucking awesome, especially considering Henry Fonda...

Anyway, mind blown, and re-appreciating. Just thought I would share...

Fuck. Incredible. The music, as usual with opera, is so bad it doesn't kinda "wrap" with the voice, which is what I love about Mozart, Morricone, and more - they blend the voice as instrument with the rest of the orchestra, but she friggin excels
!
