When did the Canadians stop being Americas friends . . .
When did the Canadians stop being Americas friends and start being the nasty crooks? Just curious. I have an idea. Your thoughts? |

So when the money starts to dry up... people start telling us to fuck off. It's that simple. |
When you kept making fun of our Canadian arm on the space shuttle. We were really proud of that thing.
Ill never forgive you for that. Also, after you helped make Justin Bieber a star. |
1812 ............

I didn't know they had...

I've always been friendly with the US and have had pro-American ideals on a wide range of issues. But I also temper that feeling of goodwill with the memory of guys like that one bonehead at a Wyoming gas station (a northern state no less!) who looked at my Canadian twenty all dubious-like (back in the 80's) and said quite seriously "How do I know this is even real money?"
lol Or the other dufuss at a Florida gas station who kept repeating "We don't take Canadian (money)" after seeing "Bank of Canada" typed across the top of my AMERICAN traveller's cheque with fucking USD printed beside the amount. Trust me, my American friends, when you're up here travelling I can assure you with 100% certainty that your american money is good anywhere you go. Which means obviously that our dumbass rednecks are smarter than yours, at least where international currency is concerned. :D |

My ancestors were United Empire Loyalists - late 1700s. Personally...I have no issues with Americans. Every continent needs village idiots for entertainment. :winkwink: |
So I'm on day 3 of having the worst flu ever. I don't remember posting this shit yesterday at all. I'm changing my password. I was just talking to a Canadian colleague yesterday on Skype and as some of you know I lived overseas for 5 years without coming back to the states. I have many Canadian affiliates, friends, etc. I'm the last person to pigeon hole people based on what country they're in. I've said so many times in posts over the years that I don't judge based on location or nationality but whatever. I was like WTF when I saw this post in my email. Ignore it. |
That's OK,Canada forgives you

OP: when did the Canadians stop being America's friends? When did the Canadians stop being America's friends and start being the nasty crooks? Perhaps I'm missing the sarcasm if there is any.. But I didn't feel this was directed at the usa. Yet enter the anti-american guff no matter. Is America perfect? Fuck no. There are a lot of terrible things going on. But I fervently believe that we still have a lot of truly awesome qualities and capabilities. Americans themselves for the most part can still be really kind people. Of coarse there is a lot of dumb fucks who act like drones but if you want to blame someone, blame american media. One of the greatest inventions of all time (the TV) has been relegated to one of the most poisonous things about this country, |
Right after George W was elected a second time?????

people aren't cunts because they are or aren't from america, or because they are or aren't from canada, or they are or aren't from insert_country_here
people are cunts or not, idiots or not, thieves or not, arrogant or not, and so on and so on. baffles me how people think 'their' country is good and 'the other person's country' is not so good, purely because they were born somewhere. wtf lol, it's like sports fans saying how their supported team is great and the others don't come close, except with sports at least you normally have a choice who to support and who not to. brainwashing at it's absolute finest, so credit for that at least to govt's around the world. |
