I don't jump on the he's dead bandwagon, but sure seems odd that he hasn't been seen in public according to the "internet". It does seem odd and very easy for him to remove all rumors by just making an appearance..

I can't imagine a "1st" world leader disappearing for days on end with no "proof" of where he is. This further cements Russia's 3rd world status, as they can't even find their president.. :1orglaugh

Just for him to enter and leave the Kremlin requires a Lot of police and it's a huge ordeal - the cars do over 100mph through the city with an army of police running ahead and stopping traffic, blocking roads, security vehicles, medical etc etc. I used to live right off of Kutuzovsky Prospekt which ended a couple blocks at the main entrance to the Kremlin. My point is that I've seen it countless times and for the prime minister or president to move around, it's a huge thing and doesn't go unnoticed.

And as said, every time a leader is out of the spotlight for a week, people start speculating they are dead as if that's the first, most reasonable conclusion

Didn't they offer up proof by way of some photo that was revealed to be afew years old?

A photo is not proof, they released a couple of video clips..one of which had been recorded previously. A public apperance is proof not a photo or video clip.

It all seems very shady, and just shows Russia isn't the world power they claim to be if they can't even be honest with what ever his problem is. Countries like North Korea play hide the dictator, not countries whom are trying to pretend to be a world power..

My guess is he has some sort of health problems and his whole persona is being the tough guy and doesn't want the world to se him as weak. However that's not how a world leader acts, it's how a 3rd world dictator acts..

He is in Lugano incognito , that´s why nobody knows where he is.

His mistress gave birth to his child in a Lugano clinic and he is around or should i say close by.

Also - not even a common Joe would abandon his duties for a week when his woman is giving birth, let alone a leader of major nation in times of major crisis and war. Not saying he is not doing this, saying that it would not be a justified thing to do..

I can imagine this must make for some difficult questions in Russia, as you guys have no real clue what will happen once the Putin dictator is gone. No line of succession, no election standards set in place.. Just Putin, much less his disappearing act at a time when the country is involved in a war.

I suspect if Putin dies anytime soon it will be very bad times for Russia, as the military & those whom have the money fight for the power. This is why Russia is falling so far behind the rest of the modern world. Not because of the CIA, the evil USA boogeyman, but because there is no stability in the fact of what will happen to the country with out Putin. No one is interested in investing into a country which has no stability and could go into turmoil at any moment.
