If you want to watch Putin news, you switch to Federal TV channels/media, but if you don't, you read and watch independent news (rbс.ru, tvrain.ru, slon.ru, echo.msk.ru etc).

FYI: there is independent (commercial) media in Russia and most of these companies can be barely be considered as pro-Putin ones. But course you didn't know that because of a serious lack or education and information. So I don't blame it on you, son :)

You didn't get it again. CNN has no Russian version and it's almost all about the USA, so it's not somehow popular here anyways. The ones who know English, can easily watch it via IPTV - no prob with that. The EuroNews is a way different thing. It's mostly about European countries and is available on all national languages. So every single Ukrainian or Russian citizen can watch it (no English knowledge required). I know you are too dumb to see the difference, so just believe me - the influence of CNN or Fox is just incomparable with EuroNews on this continent. W/o EuroNews Ukrainians have no access to the international news on their own language anymore. Simple because there is no alternative to it. They just cut off the all the information form outside.

See, if someone will ban all TV translations of baseball and so-called American "football", nobody will even note that here, because we don't watch this bullshit anyways. Dude even you can't possibly believe that Russian police are any better. I've seen plenty of cases where Russian police were caught shaking people down for money, roughing people up, or straight up killing them with zero oversight.

I don't mind when people from Norway, Switzerland, Netherlands, etc. Start criticizing the US over human rights, but the level of ignorance you have to have to live in Russia and criticize other countries is astounding.
