Payoneer closed account

Hi!

We've been working with payoneer about 2 years. In 2015 we've decided to change the account owning company. Old company was expensive to support. My managing director sent all neccessery docs to Talia, she's the person who supported us, not for the first time, but finally docs were aproved and sent to copmlaince team, as I uderstand.

After several days we've got the reply from Talia:
Unfortunately the partnership with Payoneer wasn?t approved. The reason our compliance team gave is as follows: ?Partner submission does not meet Payoneer compliance and risk policies.?

we've asked: what should we change to meet Payoneer compliance and risk polices?

reply:
I?m sorry, but we won?t be able to work together any longer. I wish you the best of luck with all of the other payment solutions you already have in place.

Thanks,
Talia

Need contacts of the person in payoneer, who can help us.

Where are you located? Or it doesn't matter to Payoneer?

These companies can be maddeningly obtuse and, thanks to Obama and others there are a million secret regulations they have to follow now that they can't disclose.

You would have been much smarter to open a second account and leave the first one alone, completely out of the picture.

And they apply to everyone on the planet (American or otherwise). It's pathetic........ you can't do ANYTHING in banking any more so hardly surprising that a prepay gets even more DD activity.

I'm surprised you can actually operate a bank account these days.....

This is really similar to sanctions imposed by the USA ... but I'm not sure about your situation

I'm originally from Russia, but the company is not Russian. The country was not a problem to work with payoneer for 2 years, they work with no probs with offshore companies. My managing director wasn't informed by Talia that the new company country is blacklisted when sent signed docs. I suspect that if we didn't decide to change the company nothing would happen:) And again why Talia didn't inform about it, we could just continue with old one on this account and open new account for new company.
