Hello,

As I mention in previous post I am getting out of Adult and will sell out most of my sites. So soon I will post for sale all my sites & unfinished projects.

Intro

Anyway, Masturbation Nation - Welcome to Masturbation Nation Community is created in 2012. I worked on that site for few months only, then I didn't touch it from that period. The reason is cause I was in search for better community platform, waiting for developers, then started new one using PHPFox (one of most popular php social platform) and then I realized that what I am looking for can't be done in php. So i invested over 1k$ to get full PHPFox license, plugins like Native mobile apps for Android & Iphone (paid 600$) and many other plugins. To not confuse you, MN (masturbationation) is not build on PHPFox, but I can give you mobile apps and plugins for FREE.

What users can do on MN ?

- Post short statuses
- Photos from URL or Upload
- Videos, by adding link from popular tube sites (surprised this still working ^^). Click to see examples: Xvideos, Pornhub, Redtube
- Send private messages
- Follow, like, comment, re-share, mention

Some stats and insight

Admin stats:

- Members 40 664 verified registered members. There are also around 15k unverified members also, which didn't confirm email, and that happen cause of my bad email & server setup, so Hotmail putted my emails in spam. Anyway, I removed that feature (email confirmation) soon after I realize that.
- Posts 300 679. It's all manual posts made by users on site. Alooot of unique photos from members.
- Private Messages are almost 50k

Here is admin screenshot as well. Pay attention on Posts from RSS which is 2.5 Milions ^^. But that posts are not showing anywhere on site, and that is a reason why there is 2.5 millions RSS posts, cause I didn't even know that RSS is still working in background. That was just some early test and I thought that dev guy shut it down. Anyway, deleting that posts from DB will make site faster for sure!


Traffic

There is no much traffic there. It's around 500uv/day Most traffic come still from 2 years old Tumblr promotions, little bit from Google & direct.




Revenue

There is no revenue. I monetized MN for a very short period, week I think. That was last years and I was testing my Ad Platform mobile ads. I was using some PPS program and in one day I got 2 sales 150$ total. After saw status which you can see on screenshot below, I decided to remove ads from MN completely and take care of my users.


If you ever want to monetize this kind of site, I suggest you to not put shitty ads which will annoy users, instead ask them for donation or premium membership.


Improvements

You can do alot of stuff to improve MN traffic and user experience.

SEO:

Back in 2012 I knew that this script should be optimized better. But I didn't know that onsite SEO is pure shit until today. I scanned site in my SEO tool using small sample and find out that this site was hit mostly by Panda cause of duplicate content. It's caused by having pages with same Title & Descriptions. For example profile page create 3 more pages ... Check screenshot


This can be fixed very simple by putting cannonical url to lead to profile page, or to put no index on 3 other pages.

Also there is alot of 302 redirections, which is caused by forcing Google bot to login , in order to see the page.



Then there is lot of empty tag/search pages like this (you need to be logged in). Which probably give negative effect in SE.

This link should have Alt text to actually tell Google what is on that page. Cause Details text doesn't tell Google anything, and that link lead to post page.


Not sure, but maybe this two domains should be disavowed in Webmaster Tools to avoid risk of Penguin



Script:

This script is not updated for 2-3 years. I just and saw that this platform developed in very well software. I will share which on is that only to buyers. There is marketplace with addons, themes, plugins so you can customize it.

Also I have Indian guy who is developer and who know this script very good. I can forward him to you if you want to do any changes, upgrades, improvements. For example, you can add chat which will improve alot user experience.
