I have found that most users on GFY to be relatively professional. Unfortunately, there seems to be a small handful of users on GFY who seems to be getting some kind of "ego-trip" by engaging in slander, flaming and "internet trolling".

You can tell these users because they liberally like to out users for "scamming" but they make no substantiated allegations. The cynical goal of these users seems to get an ego trip from destroying the reputation of competing enterprises.

Mani Kunis has officially delegated us to help him sell text links on his sites. I can assure you that you will get the text link that you seek for the agreed pricing.

Mani owes me a refund for a link that I bought that was never went in. Seeing as you are now responsible for links on his sites, would you care to provide a refund or to place the link? I wrote it off as a loss as he stopped responding but seems like you have no problem reaching him.

There's a strong case to be made for vetting your potential link buyers before giving them any information. Vetting and due diligence is both ways, not just buyers performing it with sellers -- as they should. I know for us, we won't give out any information at all unless we either know you, or you are referred, or you can be verified.

Having said that, I chuckled at seeing pmates there and fleshbot -- pmates is handled via Rebel-Ads (pretty sure) and I am surprised to see Fleshbot there... I'm pretty confident Mr.Skin (SK Entertainment) isn't in the link selling business via unsolicited emails.

what i do to verify site ownership is tell them to send me an email from the address listed at their domains registrar.

I did not say I bought the links through you. You are selling his links now however. The same links that are still owed to me. If somebody steals from you, I would not feel comfortable doing business with that person. You on the other hand seem to have no problem with that which brings into question your integrity.
