If you read about the case there is really no evidence against them what so ever. These were two dumb kids experimenting with getting high and having sex.

Anybody who read about the case read about the evidence presented against them.

Arguing that the evidence was crap makes more sense than saying there was no evidence.

I can understand the friends and family being happy at Amanda being cleared but its still a sombre case and dancing in the street is rather distasteful.

There was a ton of evidence against them both and she was caught lying several times and making up stories. She got away with murder, just like OJ, plain and simple.

Now if she wasn't such a drama queen, she might never have been charged in the first place.

But then she wouldn't be famous.

Man, come on people. "there was no evidence against them" doesn't mean there was no evidence at all, and it also doesn't mean that there was no evidence that they TRIED to use against them. It means that there was no ACTUAL evidence against THEM.

All they had was two kids that they caught on camera kissing at an inappropriate time who also knew the victim. Even in this announcement they rolled that clip of Amanda and her boyfriend kissing. People really got sucked into the gossip rag angle.

Distasteful? Do you know anything about this case at all? Her and her family were victims as well. Financially this ruined her family and her life has been absolutely destroyed.

I think her family and friends have every right to be overjoyed that she's not going to be in jail for the rest of her life and this is finally over (legally anyway) -- emotionally she's going to suffer the rest of her life because of what the Italian legal system put her through.

Yeah, that was the "theory". A theory doesn't mean it happened.

The judge was known for having these fucked up conclusions that deaths like this were due to some crazy sexual rituals, or something sexual that went wrong -- it was some kind of twisted theory he's used in other cases as well, without any evidence to support his conclusion.
