The Walking Dead 5 Season FINALE
For me was great episode!
Your thoughts folks? |
Lets not spoil it :)
|
I liked it, although I always wonder why sometimes one person can wiggle through a horde of zombies easily, then there's always one who has superhuman strength --- like the one on top of Rick near the end of the episode. Hope Rick didn't swallow any of that zombie blood that splashed on his face. Yum.
Anyway, I'm getting tired of seeing head after head get maimed with bad cgi. I kind of wish they could have a little more restraint with the kills. I know it's to appease the idiots who need to see every single kill in gruesome detail, but how about spending the CG money on doing three really well executed kills instead of 100 mediocre ones. Also, what do they tell Pete's kid? You dad was a douche and needed to die? |
Still the best show on tv in my opinion
|
its trash
|
So what was thatshit with the "wolves gang"? What is up with super elaborate trap? Why do they trap people there? What was up with the man in red, why did they kill him in that manner and what was the point?
I am sure I missed something here. PS: speaking of elaborate trap, what was the music that made zombies go? Could it be the invention that would clean the world? Turn that music on and lure all the zombies in and kill them. |

I am pretty sure any music will work. I think that they plan to drive those trucks through the gate and unleash the zombies. |

Is there a new director this season as it seems all over the place
|
Those Wolves seem a bit underwhelming.

But I do agree - I'd rather see less zombie kills up close with crap cgi vs. more of the practical effects they used to do that had more realism. I'm also looking forward to seeing how much more kick-ass Carol will be, how Morgan and Rick will deal with effectively changing mind-sets about how to handle the apocalypse, what second thoughts Deanna will have for uttering "do it", and wtf is up with the wolves. I know comic readers are salivating at the thought of the wolves, just as they were at the introduction of Michone... so maybe I need to dig up the books and delve in :) |
I'm a casual observer but enjoyed most of this season. I stopped watching when they were stuck in that prison constantly bickering. One nitpick: it's hard to believe a couple of guys (the Wolf Gang) could so easily control the dead with just a few speakers and flashing lights. Seems like Rick, and the rest of the world, could have figured that out. Rig up some giant warehouses for mass eradication.
A few questions for the experts: who was the zombie eating alive when Father Gabriel walked outside the fence? Just a random solo survivor? Who was the guy in the red poncho? Another random survivor? With Morgan, that would make 3 solo survivors in one episode (one now dead, and one undead). Another thing that bugs me: the dead appear to have the skull integrity of a thin egg shell. I've seen broomsticks and plastic model airplanes go through them like butter. Despite this, the dead have the jaw power to instantly rip through horse flesh and sinew? I know it's just a stupid zombie show, but ...:ugone2far |

----A few questions for the experts: who was the zombie eating alive when Father Gabriel walked outside the fence? Just a random solo survivor? Didn't matter. That scene was about Gabriel seeing if he could kill. -----Who was the guy in the red poncho? Another random survivor? Again, didn't matter. |
I was wondering why they couldn't use the fence trick to get out of the car. That is, crack the window a little and use the machete to slide through and pierce zombie skulls.
Although that plan is a non-starter if the car has power windows. |

Wolves are hunters and they kill often just for sport. The guys think of them selves as some sort of Wolf pack (how many are there we dunno) but they are hunting in what they consider their territory. It's a game for them hence the elaborate trap set up. I think they killed him like that because the trap had already been sprung and the trapped had escaped. There wasn't any fun to be had, so they just killed the guy in spite. |
The "wolves" explained themselves pretty clearly when they meet up with Morgan unless you missed that whole part...
"The first settlers here put bounties on wolves heads, brought Indians into it, soon they were taken out. Wolves are back now. Some of the tribes around here, they thought that the first people were Wolves transformed into men, and now, well, you know. Everything gets a return, right?" Anyways, more importantly... #porchdick is LIMP. Boom! :P |
It was kind a good, but could be better

Sorry, not every show on TV can be blockbusting, cutting edge shows such as Martin, The Cosby Show, Good Times or The Jeffersons. Oh and Fat Albert. Can't forget about Fat Albert. :1orglaugh:1orglaugh |
