Sodomite Suppression Act
 

Seems in California anyone with $200 can try to have a new law put on the ballot.... The "Sodomite Suppression Act" would outlaw gays and lesbians, and sentence them to death "by bullets to the head or by any other convenient method".

The price to pay for a democracy is to give a voice to everyone. Including those stupid racists who have nothing better to do in life but to come up with weird law suggestions. Funny that it is in California not in a more conservative state

So $200 wasted on a prank, or someone trying to get some publicity.

Which is exactly why the USA is not now and never has been a Democracy. Our founding fathers eschewed Democracy, calling it mob rule.

$200 dollars would be quite cheap if you proposed a law making a visit to mysexsite.com compulsory for registered voters ... It would have to be a tube site obviously :)
