Is Paxum a Scam?

Hey guys,

I setup a Paxum account to move my Epoch payments.

I got paid by Epoch on the 19th and I STILL haven't received my wire transfer for nearly $5,000. Is it just a scam? I got caught out by Globill back in the day so I wouldn't be surprised.

I have bank accounts around the world and a wire transfer is really easy and takes less than 24 hours - who are these monkeys?

Dave

Forest 03-31-2015 02:09 PM

i use paxum all the time with no issue at all

CaptainHowdy 03-31-2015 02:11 PM

What? Paxum is solid ...

SpeedoDave 03-31-2015 02:15 PM

They refunded me the transfer fee because I'm told they screwed up a wire transfer but still no money........

Just seems dodgy that a company that does this can't manage a simple wire transfer.

2MuchMark 03-31-2015 02:18 PM

You're way off. Paxum rocks.

Hi Dave,

Please check your email.

Thanks,
Ruth :)

SpeedoDave 03-31-2015 03:24 PM

Response from Ruth:

"I'm terribly sorry. Accounting replied to inform me that the wire was never confirmed by the bank."

They are a finance company and they can't get a wire transfer figured out?

12 days I have been waiting to get my money - just want you guys to be aware.

mOrrI 03-31-2015 03:28 PM

Used them... with wire, had no problems...

LeRoy 03-31-2015 03:30 PM

Not one problem with Paxum ever.

SpeedoDave 03-31-2015 03:45 PM

"I'm sorry you no longer wish to use our services. I understand this has not been a good experience for you, and I apologize for that."

Thanks a bunch Ruth - that solves everything.

I've had the occasional wire transfer problem with Paxum (and with Payoneer as well). Yes, it's a pain in the ass, but sometimes shit just happens. Paxum (and Payoneer) have always been good in helping me straighten things out.

Paxum is solid, and I highly recommend them.

NaughtyRob 03-31-2015 05:15 PM

Absolutely NOT a scam.

Nicky 03-31-2015 05:39 PM

I request wires in the € thousands monthly through them without a hickup.

Drake 03-31-2015 11:46 PM

Have only had good experiences with Paxum

JFK 04-01-2015 12:19 AM

Wires, can be done in 24hrs, but NOT all the time, it all depends on the banks involved, it usually takes longer. Specially overseas transfers. I have never had a problem with Paxum:2 cents::thumbsup

seeandsee 04-01-2015 01:53 AM

Using them from start, no scam

PornDiscounts-V 04-01-2015 02:19 AM

I had Epoch wire the payments to me. Not sure why you would use a middle man. No pun intended.

For everything else, I just use my Paxum card to pull out $5k in cash and buy some coke and hookers.

Lykos 04-01-2015 04:35 AM

I use them for years with no issues at all !

bluebook18 04-01-2015 05:46 AM

paxum is solid..

iSpyCams 04-01-2015 05:59 AM

I have 1,000 missing from them as well, I sent it to fund my account on the 17th, 2 days later I was informed that they had changed banks. It seems my transfer was lost in the shuffle.

That doesn't make Paxum a scam, it just means they had an issue with their bank. I would have expected the Bank to either return the wire or fund my account after 2 weeks but nothing.

I guess I'm just happy it was a relatively small wire.

Payoneer had the same issue on the same day but were able to credit my funding wire with no issues.

adultchatpay 04-01-2015 06:33 AM

Every business has its own problem. But that doesn't mean they are scammers.

PR_Phil 04-01-2015 06:38 AM

like anything else involving banking, Paxum is a little bit of a pain in the beginning. But once it is set up correctly, they are solid and Ruth is always on the ball as far as I am concerned. We have put well over 7 figures through paxum in the last couple years and have not had any issues.

I've always said that I think she's a shitty rep with a shitty attitude. This is just another shining example. BUT...others will chime in and say I'm wrong, that's how the game is played.

habibjr 04-01-2015 06:56 AM

i dont think they are solid, when u cant even add funds through ur bank or CC. i still get the same bullshit message blah blah "maintenance message" when i try to add funds.

Yeah I dont get it as well. Obviously there is some reason people use Paxum. But why deal with Paxum when you can get money wired directly to checking acct?

Ruth is great, she spotted me a few bucks once on my Paxum account just to be nice, cause I needed to complete an affiliate payout. It was only a few bucks, (4) but I can't think of any other payment company that will spot you like that, even pennies.

I never noticed the "shitty attitude", not in emails, IM or in person. But even if I had, I would take the shitty attitude along with her ability to take care of problems any day. There's no shortage of reps who are nice as hell and can't or won't do shit for you.

I would still like to get my missing wire taken care of, but I believe it's not really a Paxum fault, it's an intermediary bank problem.

Still, I lost 1,000 following their written directions and I do expect it to be resolved.

HowlingWulf 04-01-2015 07:25 AM

Isn't the 1st problem the bank didn't confirm the wire transfer? 2nd problem is Paxum took too long to report it...

O MARINA 04-01-2015 07:41 AM

Ruth & Chris are good people and I am not talking about the restaurant =)

CDSmith 04-01-2015 11:56 AM

"Question regarding Paxum" would have sufficed for a thread title here.

innproductions 04-01-2015 12:01 PM

depends on who you ask

iSpyCams 04-01-2015 12:18 PM

UPDATE: Ruth just got my wire sorted and it turns out it was all my fault from the beginning. I didn't complete the "add funds by wire" steps completely in the Paxum panel.

She went to work and got it all my stupid mistakes fixed and now I got money in my Paxum. WOOHOO!

Sorry for the complaints, and thanks Ruth for taking care of it!

SpeedoDave 04-01-2015 03:13 PM

Ruth has been great to deal with, no attitude as well.

They are going to try again, hopefully it will work.

Black All Through 04-01-2015 03:24 PM

It's hard to get through to the Pakistani/indians on the other side at the crappy help center, and to renew a card is basically a nightmare. I always had Ruth take care of things for me, she knows her shit. Regarding wire and other transfers, never once have I had a problem with them.

kinkstercash 04-03-2015 10:35 AM

Shout out to Ruth. My program Kinkstercash is having a wire problem. Can you hit up my accountant. She has messaged you on Skype. Her Skype name starts with "she"

AlfalfaReborn 04-03-2015 10:46 AM

Been using them for years without a problem. Ruth is always available whenever we need her to help us with anything.

overdose 04-03-2015 10:50 AM

paxum is my favourite payment solution for a long time, almost instant support... every company has issues sometimes but it's too extreme calling them scam :D

Hi kinkster,

I believe I spoke with your accountant already and the wire has been deposited. Please check with your accountant to confirm and let me know if you still need assistance.

Thanks,

Ruth :)

never used them

arock10 04-03-2015 04:19 PM

Epoch payments to paxum can no longer be done because of the bank change. Epoch is not allowed to work with paxum's new bank... I was in the process of setting this up myself

Apparently they are setting up a new bank account to get around this elsewhere, so hopefully it'll get sorted out

tonyantone 04-03-2015 04:29 PM

Have been using Paxum without any problems I can Recommend them!

Whats wrong with the people at the restaurant?

You were simply unlucky. It happens sometimes. Paxum is ok.

I don't know if it is her personally, as much as she gets equally frustrated.

From what I understand, Paxum is not setup like a real financial services company should be. Then again, I would not expect a guy who made his living selling penis pills to know how to properly set one up. I inherently do not trust a guy who made his money buy ripping desperate guys off with bogus claims.

AFAIK, she is in Mexico. Paxum is in Canada. Their support is somewhere else. Not that uncommon, except: even as their top rep, she's not allowed access to the information that would allow her to do her job properly. Nor is she allowed to exercise proper judgement and get shit done by hitting buttons herself.

I've given her shit out of frustration, but its not really her fault, IMHO. Paxum runs well enough when things are fine, but you start to see the stresses in their company when something goes wrong. In other words, Paxum has been lucky.

FWIW, Epassporte used to hide a lot of information from their main rep, too. Companies have to be able to trust a key person to be able to exercise proper judgement and get something done. Neither Epassporte or Paxum seemed (and seem) to be good at doing that.

"Real" Financial Services Companies don't and can't have all customer data info and controls in the hands of one person. There's processes and procedures and laws and directives and compliance issues and you should take comfort in the fact that Ruth can't just open her laptop and see your whole life and move yours and everyone else's money all over the place at the touch of a button.

Sid70 04-04-2015 08:42 AM

All I needed was a paypal funding option for paxum, they never said yes to me. Why would I want paxum then? And Chris has an attitude problem. Ruth is cool.

fitzmulti 04-04-2015 11:01 PM

Never once an issue after several years w/ Paxum.
