I've done that a million times... that and did I lock the office door? Of course you get these thoughts after driving for between 10-25 minutes. Another good one is the toaster oven...

I have them on my doors, but the worst part is? Is that they have sensors at the bottom of the door that connect from one side of the door frame to the other... if something crosses it's path? It will open back up. It's a child proof thing so that kids don't get crushed by doors I guess.

I automatically hit my garage door opener which is on my sun visor and back out... as soon as the car clears the threshold, I hit it again. Most of the time I stop to look back to see if it has closed... sometimes I have shit on my mind. This is when the issue comes into play... "did a rake fall? FUCK! I didn't look back when I left the driveway..."

The sensors can be set off by cobwebs or dust ffs. That's what get's me thinking... "Did it shut?"

Actually having to manually shut a garage door seems like it would be easier to remember if you did or not.

Man you aint kidding. Wife and I used to forget to shut our truck doors all the time when bringing in the groceries. Country life was the best.

Cobwebs and a little dust will do it. Or leaves that blow in the door.

And if the sensor beam is just slightly out of alignment. I've had to tighten the brackets a few times to re-align it.

I think I see the problem. You tightened it when you shoul've removed it.
