Do stores take food stamps for mechanical devices these days? Sorry, random question but just asking? Being totally serious. :2 cents:

I have 3 soda streams. Bought the first one about 12 years ago.

Carbonation, good, reliability good (the 1 that broke was replaced without question). The syrup suck balls.

I use regular juice concentrate, or a squeeze of citrus - I like it lots.

I have shitty well water and have stinky water sometimes when I camp in my RV and it is a pain in the ass to get the stinky smell out of the refill bottle (and wash them well too). The soda stream is awesome for an RV or boat!

If anyone can figure out to make Celery Soda (it's a NY thing) let me know. I suffer when I am here in the mountains without it!

I also use SodaStream and agree with suesheboy about the syrup. Use natural juice concentrate or even something like Crystal Lite or KoolAid from your local store for carbonated lemonade or similar. The compressed CO2 cartridges are like $15 to refill and will make a ton of carbonated beverages.
