I miss old internet.

I miss the Yahoo chat rooms.

And the MSN chat rooms. And the AOL chat rooms.

right! Groups were great for postings (kinda Yahoo own Usenet), got good converting traffic from there...

Yahoo used to be AMAZING for chatting back in 98/99/00/01/02, then i just used it less and less, now it f'in sucks.

I miss the old Yahoo Personals back when it was free, it got me laid a bunch of times back in the day.

Nothing has really changed, it's still the same shit on the Internet that there was 20 years ago but only more of it and being dumped in your computer at higher speeds.

What's changed is the people that use the net and the bullshit involved in trying to make a buck. I've got a brother that works for Bing and according to him it's a never ending bitch festival in meetings about how much work has to go in to keeping surfers basically entertained in order to earn a dollar.

When the Internet was young everything was new and cool. You could make a friend, even get laid, sell stuff and find a scan of that old long lost porn magazine that was your favorite for stroking off.

Today most of the people are assholes, getting laid involves local area hooker ads, selling stuff is a pain in the neck and porn is often some Bulgarian mongoloid filming himself fucking a fat hooker with his cell phone.

I think they stopped caring about the search engine long ago. Big fukn mistake.
