Justified - Final Season

What a horrible season, almost painful to watch. The previous wasn't so great either. Best seasons where 2 - 4 and they were EXCELLENT! At one time I said it was the best show I'd seen since The Wire (entertainment wise) What a shitty way to end a great show.

sandman! 04-08-2015 11:18 PM

yea his season has been lame 1 more episode and its done.

Matyko 04-08-2015 11:30 PM

Watched a few episodes, but didn't like it. I felt that this was made for women, aged 16-40 :pimp
One minute from 'true detectives' worth more than this whole thing.

J. Falcon 04-08-2015 11:38 PM

It's a better show than True Detective and just because the lead is who he is doesn't mean it's made for women. It was a great show until last season.

I was watching it until mid second season, struggling from mid 1st season if I should delete or continue. I deleted and re-read Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series by Douglas Adams instead, 15 years after I read it for first time and it was a good decision, this book is still Fucking Amazing! :pimp :2 cents:

Seems to get worse and worse with each episode. Thankfully next is the last.

It definitely seems to be going out with a whimper as opposed to a bang. I've always liked Justfied, but let's face it -- there was never any major wow factor for any season. I'd call it the most "laid back" show on TV.

My favorite season was the one about the plane hijacker who was hiding out for years as a small town sheriff.

script writers always take the same direction...start with plots that involve 'crime/hardcore' situations and then devolve to 'bitch fighting and snitching on each other' :2 cents:

The series had its moments but yeah....its on its last leg.

bronco67 04-09-2015 10:45 AM

My favorite part of this season has been Sam Elliot. The man is a national treasure.

That was season 4, probably my favorite as well. I disagree about thw Wow Factor (not that I really consider it important in what makes a show/movie solid, perhaps the difference between you and me) there were many intense shootouts and "Justified" duels. I always thought the Rayland character incredibly cool, smooth, witty and funny.

i don't know why it would be compared to true detective, those are pretty much polar opposites. justified is more of a gun slinger modern day western, which is pretty unique. I'm not overly impressed with this final season but i don't think its half as painful as most final seasons though.

Eva Crowder turns around, gets in the truck, then casually drives away. Apparently Raylon is a drama queen and wanted to let her get a way so he could chase her again or had some other important business because he just let her drive away with the $10,000,000. It seems he did not call fell the need to call it in so law enforcement could easily block off the country roads and catch her. Or he could have simply shot out the tires. How many other times have we witnessed his sharp shooting with a piston in previous seasons?:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh I think this season they are using the same shitty and lazy writers as The Walking Dead and Dexter in their final seasons.

I don't know....kind of makes sense if you consider the fact that Ava's main weapon has always been sexual power over men. Raylan is a victim of that too in this case.

lezinterracial 04-09-2015 05:45 PM

This last season has been sucking. I find that I don't care too much about Ava's character. Last week's episode was pretty good though with the Wynn Duff trailer brawl.

Season 3 with Robert Quarles is still my favorite season.
