Google traffic

For most of adult sites pretty big percentage of traffic comes from Google, and it's not just from people using Google to search for those sites, what are the ways to get traffic from Google?

Buying and converting traffic is a skill, not a quick fix.

At least that's what Alexa shows.

I'm not a SEO guru - but after much research I learned it's just better to do it yourself with all the changes that are constantly happening. You need to know the changes so you can go with the flow yourself.

Utilize google analytics, webmaster tools and a program like semrush.com where you can start to understand your traffic and be specific in areas you want to increase by keywords. You can put in your competitors and see what they're doing, what keywords they rank high for etc.

YOU can do it. It just takes time, and costs you little.

edit: Write really great blogs too. Niche specific.

SEO is not exactly what I am asking about, for example, some site might be shown on Alexa as getting 7% traffic from the search engines, and 25% of traffic from Google, so, I wonder what other ways of traffic besides searching results Google can provide?

Alexa is not accurate at all.

Yes, but to the extend that the numbers would be so conflicting?
They do use some algorithm that should reflect a ratio, even with wrong numbers, right?

So, anyone knows if there is any other source of traffic from Google besides search?

AdWords and AdSense in mainstream.

Google still accepts AdWords for cam sites however they stopped accepting the ads for static hardcore porn a few months ago. AdSense never accepted ''adults only content".

That is the only other sources of Google referrals -- paid advertising.

If you want accurate buy Comscore -- that is what the Big Dogs and the Mainstream Advertising agencies use.
