Is it possible to get USD from Paxum card in Croatia?
Is it possible? What are ATM limits? Any additional fees for USD withdrawal?
|
Not sure how it works, but it doesnt depends on the ATM itself? So if it gives money in rubles then you will get in that..
|

Any ATM that even dispensed dollars would likely first charge you in kunas and then convert it to dollars at an exorbitant exchange rate. not sure why you'd want to do that
|
nope...ATMs in croatia give out only local currency...they make money on converting your $ to kunas and selling to you at a lowball price...
|
Don't think so (though it would be awesome) ...

option to choose currency between local and $ I sow only at few ATMs in some Caribbean countries |
We have machines in the UK, especially in airports and Central London that will offer Euros - Never EVER use them...

You can get only HRK as far as I know. 1 USD would be probably around 6.8 HRK from ATM. If you Google the currency rate now, it's 7.14 Croatian Kuna for 1 USD.

a word to the wise: it is not the same what banks ATM you use...I have seen differences of up to 5% on the exchange rate from bank to bank :thumbsup |
depends on the atm itself. i was using my card in both croatia and serbia, and i always get it's default currency.. so for example, if i want to withdraw cash in serbia, i get serbian dinars..
