Moniker is down again
Moniker appears down again and no one is responding over there, does anyone have a good contact. Used to be Michael White and he was pretty responsive, but he's no longer with the company and I have no one to reach out to.
Their support doesn't seem to reply and is not available at all on Sundays, don't even have hours of customer support. If anyone has a good contact, hit me up. Thanks, |
Take the hint and good luck if you do.
|
yup down for me as well
|
How can anyone still have domains there?

That was when I knew there was a problem. |
support there is non existent now. the only way to get any support is to call and even then they often just have you on hold and eventually goes to voice mail. move your names and don't look back.
|
Moniker is the worst!
While it was a huge pain in the ass I was definitely satisfied when I moved over 1000 domains off their shit. For months and months I tried to get ahold of their customer server and was unsuccessful. It was only when they saw a batch move of hundreds of domains that they reached out to me... |
Why anyone uses anything other than NameCheap is beyond me...
I had one problem with them about 8/9 years ago - The CEO came to GFY and apologized to me in person..... It wouldn't happen now I am sure, but it showed he has a real respect for even small clients like me... |
NameCheap it is then.
|
Thank you Moniker for fucking up and screwing all your existing customers. Since there are domainers who are dumb or lazy enough to continue keeping domains at Moniker and they are having problems renewing their domains, I now have the opportunity to pick up some gems when they drop.

Just heard back from Moniker:

I been slowly moving my domains from godaddy to namecheap, been totally satisfied so far and much cheaper also.
|
moniker was ok for me until they changed everything.
new system is really a downgrade. now moving everything to internet.bs. |
Started with Moniker at 2008 when they were still in the original hands (if I'm not mistaken).
However my contact since their colossal mess up is already at Namesilo. free WHOIS privacy, easy to use interface, responsive support, not the least of issues so far |
people still use them ? :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh
|
That sucks man, move them to godaddy or someone else that has been around for a while..
|
I worked for Moniker for 6 years. It makes me sad to hear/read what's happened to them!
Holla if you have any interest in transferring to eNom! I've got some great rates! PS - NameCheap is a Reseller of eNom :winkwink: |
