Using a Description in the alt tag
Hi Just was wondering. If I have a thumb on a page and I want to add the alt tag. Is it feasible to add a long description explaining what the thumb and link is about? Example: A thumb of lesbians fisting. Alt tag: Dana Dearmond highjacks Dahlia Sky's party by introducing the housewives to the wonderful world of Anal fisting, Gaping and cum Enemas.
Thank you |

Anyway, back to topic: Better use "longdesc" (Objects, Images, and Applets in HTML documents) for long descriptions. Alt-Tags should be short. |

Thanks again for everyone's help. |
Alt attribute should contain description of what is shown in the picture. Imagine that a person who cannot view images would read that description to understand what the image is all about.
Also, think of Google Image search, when users are searching for specific images, if you give wrong Alt attribute description, what would users see in search results? |
