:1orglaugh:1orglaugh cum on guys... ruin her career like Memories Pizza! let us do this! Britt McHenry suspended, apologizes for vicious rant |

I was reading about the towing company, they do sound like scumbags.
The reporter certainly overreacted, but most people overreact when they are upset. Recording the incident and blasting her really starts making you wonder, do we have any ounce of a private life anymore? Probably not. You must now be a zombie if you don't want to lose your job. Yay. |
There is no justifying behavior like that so stop even trying.
Yes everyone gets mad and feels like they din do nuffin from time to time (sounds familiar) but it's how they react that makes them a decent, civil person or a piece of living, breathing cow dung. She has placed herself as one who deserves the latter description in my opinion. |

We can't act like that and expect anything good to come of it. |
She's a spoiled privileged rich bitch. I will bet you dollars to donuts Brii McHenry has never faced a moment in her life where she didn't get exactly what she wanted exactly when she wanted it.
|
get her! rant lynch!
|
Another petulant pretty blond girl who dint do nuffin and feels entitled to abuse those she feels are beneath her station. What do you want to bet she parked clearly where she was not supposed to but felt that she was entitled to park...
Every impound lot keeps a camera on the window. Those people sit behind bullet proof glass because they get way more abuse than that btw; no wonder the attendant found it so easy to not get offended. |
"Social media" was designed to get people used to the idea that everything they do, say, or ultimately think will be known by everyone else. The government can easily monitor and collect data when everyone is already streaming and/or posting their every move.
Privacy - what's that? They will say in a couple of generations. Oh, some ancient concept that people could be individuals who didn't have a need to share every time they took a shit with everyone else. |

ESPN Reporter Britt McHenry -- Obesity Group Pissed ... Over Anti-Fat Crack | TMZ.com "The Obesity Action Coalition." There is a coalition that fights so fat people are not called fat people? Unbelievable. |

She does not have a brain! Otherwise her temper would have been held in check due to the many cameras pointed at her. I am willing to wager this ignorant twit would not have a job if not for the mattress tied to her back.

Sorry, but I think a good public shaming is in order. There was no need for her to belittle and denigrate the other girl the way she did. She's a douche. |
My wife is exactly like that.

Her "apology" is surely a candidate for the least sincere apology ever :2 cents:

You guys must have never seen the Philadelphia parking authority, that girl is nothing compared to so many of those people.
It really would be hard for me to go out and work with the public and not smack a bitch. Thank God I can make money at home. I don't know how I would get along if I had to deal with people like her. |

That kind of attitude doesn't just pop up one day and never happen again. That is part of who she is right now. |

"cum on guys... ruin her career like Memories Pizza! let us do this!" ... This is what I can't agree with. Social media mob mentality. Modern day lynching. Fucking up a life/career/business from afar by people who react to select sound-bytes and aren't part of the actual event. I didn't even bother to read what she is accused of I'm just responding to crucifixion by social media. Imagine you being held accountable to the world and your everyday profession by some of your erotic photography being tossed around by idiots in Iowa. . |

I've only gone on the verbal attack...after being attacked. Never unprovoked. And even then I wouldn't take it to the personal level this bitch did. |

For starters, my co-workers in everyday profession know about my photography. It's not something I hide or am ashamed of. It doesn't belittle or denigrate others. My photography is a small facet, but isn't a summation or entirely indicative of who I am...or the type of person I am. I get your point about media lynch mobbing as we see it every other day. But to me there is a difference between justified and unjustified. This is a media darling...in the public spotlight and held to a different degree of accountability. I watched her in the video and despite her excuse that she was overly-stressed and emotional at the time, she didn't appear that way. She was just calm, cool, collected...vile and vindictive. If I disrespected and acted the way she did towards a model, let's say...and my paying members learned of it...I'd fully expect them to justifiably ream me a new asshole. Watch the video of her and see if you still think the same as above. |

Even if the ESPN girl deserves what she gets the OP from New Delhi INDIA spamming ESPN with hateful messages or weighing in on a hick pizza joint owner isn't a direction I want to see become the norm. Public lynching is a sport I find distasteful. If ESPN wants to suspend her, fire her, fine but seeing them respond to mobs of people who don't give a shit but just want to fuck with people is as bad as her initial behavior. |

Naw, we're non-practicing alternate lifestylers these days...we've always been open with everyone (including family) about what we do. Hell, the wife and I met over a BDSM BBS 20 years ago...everyone already knew our proclivites. :1orglaugh Quote:
Perhaps a happy median between the two extremes is a better solution. P.S - If you know any "idiots in Iowa" with credit cards who like BDSM, kindly redirect'em our way. :1orglaugh |

She may well just be a cunt in general, or it may be she was reacting to another issue (which is usually the case) and it all came spilling out... worry about a loved one, blahblah whatever. Which don't get me wrong I'm not saying is a good excuse, or even a terrible one, but I doubt the *reason* for her outburst was wholly to do with having her car towed. What I'm saying is basically what L-Pink has said - who am I to sit here knowing fuck all about her, and decide to 'ruin her life'? No-one, that's who. Each to their own, but meh, just my take on it. |
Quote:
Had she just made one simple out-of-line comment and left it at that - yeah, okay...a regretable momentary lapse in judgement and probably excusable. But she went on a lengthy tirade that wasn't just a spontaneous outburst. |
Quote:
Some people are, I agree, but how do you know who is and who isn't, based on an internet video, and a bunch of other people saying who they are, and what they're about? L-Pink is dead on when he says it's become a sport - it's like a mass troll, and I thought the average biz owner wouldn't be led so easily :2 cents: fwiw, I've made a few lengthy tirades that weren't just one line, and 99% of the time the situation just being the straw that broke the camel's back with whatever other shit was going through my mind. Not everyone does that, but not everyone is everyone. To decide to join in 'ruining' someone because a) I don't actually know the full story regarding why she had that outburst (everyone is dealing with shit mentally) b) some clown on a messageboard, or facebook, or twitter gets a hardon from 'ruining' people c) I think everyone should be just like me is a bit, well... wanky. Like I said, she may well just be a cunt anyway, in which case she'll get hers eventually - just I fail to see the 'bloodlust' of the masses as being any less of a cunt move than what she did, except the bloodlust comes from fuck all except reading something on the internet. No wonder the media is so powerful :2 cents: |
Quote:
But you raise a very good point - how to determine when a person is or isn't just being an intentional douche because that's who they are at the core. Especially based on an internet video. I usually judge by how out-of-control they seem to be at the time and how they phrase what they say. Typically, when the voice pitch goes up, they start stammering for words and you get the feeling they don't do this often...it all plays into the perception. But when they talk the way she did in the video with smooth, in-control inflection...I take that as a sign they're generally intentional and vindictive. Not always - but as a rule of thumb most times. Not to say I'm always right, of course...at times I've been surprised as hell by an apology from someone I thought was a colossal asshole. But it comes down to years of experience at least for me. Call it subjective. |
Now she can earn way more monies!
