still the best smartphone for that price :thumbsup

It was no longer worth it by last november because the LG G3 - which had better specs - was already the same price

i bet they are removing the invite system to clear out inventory cause the one plus two is coming out soon.

it's a decent phone, but who would want to buy a 2014 phone in 2015? :error

G3 costs more... and comes only with 32 gb max

it has the same specs as the iPhone 6+ - more or less


anyways - not going to argue - those people that i know that bought it are happy and for $349 it is still the best bang for the buck out there

and i am not going to force you to buy one, just letting those people know that up to now were hesitant because of the invite system

i think i will wait for the next one.

are they shipping the opo with the new os or still cyanogen? are they giving current opo owners the option for an ota to the new os?

cyanogen as far as i know - but you can install Oxygen OS if you like (which is already on Lollipop):

anytime you have to use ADB it's going to get serious. have you thought of using an opo toolkit?

i use the {wugfresh} toolkit for my nexus and it handles all of that crap including downloading and installing proper drivers, system images everything. it unlocks, locks, roots, deroots, debricks, blah blah. it's complete and completely fantastic.

Who cares which year's phone it is? You look at the specs, OS version etc, not at year.
Unless you are apple sheep, they do need latest one every year :1orglaugh

I would rather wait a couple of months for when the next version comes out, then either get the new version, or if you are on a tight budget this one for half price on ebay...

Side by side, id take the plusone over an LG anyday., In fact, id never buy an lg. Had a few of them... junk that wont last the contract length

Dude, I used wugfresh to firstly use the CM12 nightlies on my opo and now I'm using the official CM12 release (also updated using wugfresh). Very easy and it's not likely you'll screw any thing up. Basically all point and click to be honest.
