Photos on my server or remote?

I have a doubt, better to keep the photo (thumbnails) on my server or take them remotely from the server of the affiliate program?
I'll explain with examples:
I created some time ago two sites with identical structure:

the first take photos remotely, for the second, I created a function that takes the photos from remote and builds a preview saving it on my server. Then uses images from the local server.

Advantages and disadvantages are different.
In big boobs with remote images do not have control over the size, weight, optimization of remote images.
But perhaps they are not considered part of my site by search engines, which turns out to be faster ... (I do not know)
Maybe they are seen as network cdn?
If you remotely delete a photo, in my site remains a hole ...
The time to see all the content of a page depends on the weight of the remote photos.

In teens photos are on my server, I can resize to the correct size for my site, I can optimize lossless with optipng or optijpeg.
I can greatly reduce the load time and viewing my site.
Not remain holes in my site.

It remains to say that currently the site big boobs makes about 2,000 visits a day, Teens about 50 a day.
Doubt I came because I thought it was better to have the photos on the server, but the data they give me wrong.
The first has been online for much longer, the second by a few months, however, even if time is short, I expected better results.

The niches are different, and certainly it is also the response of the users.
But fortunately, few months before teens, I created this third site Big Tits Hard Pics | Big Tits, Huge Tits, Huge Boobs, Giant, has a structure somewhat different from the other two, but the photos in the local and the same niche of big boobs. This third site is about 50-100 visits a day.
