What's a good business for a good domain name in 2015?

I got a very nice, simple, short, brandable domain name.

What would you do with it in this epoch?

freecartoonporn 04-26-2015 10:53 PM

depends on the domain name.

whats the domain name ?
why hide it unless there is site on it and you are making good cash with it.

Depends on how much money you have for development and branding.
It's value to you is only as good as the above and your core idea and marketing strategy.

If you haven't the all the above --sell it --cash out.

Hey internet, what do I do?

Unless you are willing to give up the name of the domain, then who knows what the fuck you should do with it?

Your idea of a good domain name is somebody elses idea of a shitty domain name.

Unless it is a straight up dictionary word? Keep it, brand it and work it.

If it's a true dictionary word that would be disgustingly brandable? Sell it or at least put it up for sale for a gross amount of money and see what happens.

With all of the recent Google bullshit with Penguin, Panda etc... There is no such thing as a straight keyword domain that will get you ranked at the top. It helps get you closer, but in the end it really is about quality. In other words, because I own the domain cars.com does not really mean that I would get the top result in Goog;e when somebody types in "cars". It could be Automobiles.com... that's my point.

:2 cents:

rogue uploading site

How about putting up a questionnaire like this one right on the front of the domain? See why people are already going there, and ask them what they expect to find. Could that help, I wonder?
