And the greeks butt-fucked everyone ....... imagine that.

klinton 04-27-2015 08:15 PM

i dont think so....
anyway, their best solution is to leave eurozone and finally cut this debt madness...few years of struggling and maybe later they will be better...
and half of the population will leave for UK, US, Scandinavia nad Netherlands....

nico-t 04-28-2015 04:10 AM

all the successes the Euro brought us.....

It was a pet project for banksters and ram down everyones throat here. When we got the euro in NL, prices quickly went times 2. Because our old fashioned guilder had 2 times less value. The importance of price psychology was proven, because the switch made everyone blind for this huge price rise.

You paid fl 10 (guilders) for 4 beers, fl 2,50 per beer. A little while after the euro was introduced, soon 4 beers were €10.

€10 is fl 22.

I am all for Greece doing this, the eurozone needs to fail, it's one big fuck up.

HUGE truth dude... same here... u paid 100 drachmas for a piece of pie and after u spend 1 euro which means 340,75 drachmas...

Euro fucked whole Europe! Many countries has problems, like Italy, Spain, Portugal and now Finland too... a country which hate Greece... Germany which press Europe now can put at their butts all the things which produce (electronics etc) because now NONE can buy them...

MaDalton 04-28-2015 06:45 AM

no one in Greece should blame anyone else but themselves. generations of corrupt politicians that cheated themselves into the Euro, a tax system that no one understands and no one follows, avoiding taxes as a national sport (why do so many greek houses never get finished? why is asking for a receipt at a hotel, restaurant or gas station something like an insult to the owner?), no taxes at all for the billionaires, half of greece works for the government and you get pension at 55.

if it wasn't so sad, it would be funny

all the greek people i know personally are great people - but the greek government, no matter which party - is a joke

Very true. The price of ski passes in slovakia went WAAAAY up when they entered the euro, because of course you cannot have a 9 euro ski pass - it has to cost more.

SvenGun 04-28-2015 06:49 AM

They don't call it "Going Greek" for no apparent reason :winkwink:

klinton 04-28-2015 09:03 AM

sure man. and that means one thing - country like Greece shouldnt be allowed at first place to eurozone. now you have/ had some strange combinations of countries like Greece, Portugal, Spain and well, Italy on one side and on the other: countries like Germany, Austria or Netherlands...well...good idea or not ?
while the euro was so strong in last 10 years, it was literally killing all these "south" economies....
the only country happy from being in eurozone is GERMANY,that could/ can export all the stuff that they produce without exchange rates
and now you are even happier with such weak euro, which is actually good for whole EU economy

I thought Germany still owned them for WWII.
And an investigation here showed they where right.
After the fall of the wall compensation had to be paid.
So we are waiting for the money from Germany and Greece :)

Also Holland had claims that would be negotiated when Germany would become 1 country. But that negotiations never started and therefor Holland couldn't claim more money. So Holland just had a little compensation for the cost of WWII. There was a documentary on TV about it.

see - there are by now hundreds of international law specialists that cannot say whether all reparations were ended with the 2+4 contract or not - i doubt we will solve this on a porn webmaster board

and it has nothing to do with the way Greece handles its financials - just look at countries like Slovakia or Estonia that went through this and were able to pull themselves out.

a pensioner in those countries retires at 65 and gets maybe 200-300 € pension - a greek pensioner retires at 55 and gets 80% of his last income (Germany: 46%).

and now please explain a slovakian or estonian pensioner why they should finance Greece

Tasty1 04-28-2015 10:45 AM

ps, with the new robot techniques i think we all need to retire at 55! Instead of we wanting the greek people to work longer, we must all follow that good exampe! Why 'work' till you are 67 when in reality most people will be unemployed at 57?

There are more and more people wanting a sort of 'basic income' for everybody. Cause there are hundrerds of thousands unemployed who probably won't find a job again.

i never understood how someone can be self employed and at the same time come up with ideas like this

and in several EU countries unemployment rates are down, CZ for example looks pretty good.

there is unemployment where countries didn't do their homework - when a country for example relied solely on tourism, olive oil and that they can always borrow enough money to keep half of the country employed as government employees in return for voting for them.

i am sick of this shitty crying

As we are on the subject, I don't think that Finland got a dime for burned Lappland. Though we were "on the same side" in the negotiations as Germany, but if you feel guilty enough about burned Lappland, I can give my bank account number. Not that I would be from Lappland, but I can arrange it so that my bank account is. :)

MaDalton 04-28-2015 11:22 AM

"Lappen" in german means a cloth you use for wiping - and you can call someone "Lappen" when he's a weak person.

just thought i'd mention...

I love Greece and I feel there like I am home. Can't wait to use drachmas again.

klinton 04-28-2015 12:35 PM

just leave Germans alone with what they did 70 years ago.
it was 70 years ago, for gods sake...if they had to pay all claims for what they done during second war, they would be ruined now, lol.
and what exactly they did do Holland ? My guess is that probably 10 times less than to Poland...
how about Netherlands will start to pay Indonesia for what they done few hundreds years ago ? are you ready for that or you already pay for it with immigration from south east asia ?:)

Holland can pay the slave trade processes with the money we still get from Germany.
After that we go after France cause Napoleon also made a mess here.

You have to admit the idea of the Euro is good and solid. It had to make traveling in Europe much, much easier. I could only imagine the cluster fuck it would be if in the US we had a different currency in every state.. :2 cents:

One money exchange rate has a lot of benefits, but obviously there will be problems to go along with it..

klinton 04-28-2015 02:36 PM

exactly, so you see ? no point in that at all.

most of you are too young to remember (or not even being born then) how it was with closed borders and different currencies everywhere

and most of you don't make enough to worry about accounting in 20 or 30 different currencies

you all just cry cry cry and have no clue

oh and France will supply croissant, baguette Y cafe for every black man in Africa.
they will also repay what Haiti pay them in 1800's.

it costs me extra money for my tax accountant because he has to calculate exchange rates all the time

euro and usd would be enough for me

but i realize by now that most here get maybe 100 or 200 a month by paxum that they never pay taxes on and therefore know shit about how business works
