[SEO] Aged domains
How important is is to be buying aged domains, with something like, lets say PR (even though this seems to be outdated), or traffic. This can be also seen as SemRush Rank, maybe, or Ahrefs Rank, whatever the value of that domain would be, mostly seo wise. Do you do that, and how much does it help?
What are the best places to get aged domains, could be adult only... I know that I can get if here too. |
stop flooding GFY with your retarded questions, clown.

Domain age does matter, but I haven't bought a single domain from "aftermarket". You can of course buy domains to "age" those. Put few unique pages and some links and let it age while you work with other domains.
Just being old domain doesn't per se matter much or at all, but if it is even somewhat associated with quality and the topic is the same than you will use it for, then it has some value. |
The age doesn't matter at all , you can buy a domain if it has good keywords !

It doesn't matter that much like some people think.

look at some serps. are aged domains ranking? the end.
|
Age has value, but it isn't the end if it isn't old yet. You just have to work a little harder in the beginning. Keyword rich domains are quite helpful as well.

The best SEO domains are free, and not domains at all
|
PR is not used anymore and you should be making websites dedicated to providing a great user experience rather then worrying how old a domain is.
|
What do you consider old? I have a bunch that are all 14 years old and was going to sell them or give them to someone that will use them.

Age is a factor. But the most important factors in today's SEO world are the quality of backlinks and whether those backlinks are organic ones. A 10 year old domain is hardly of any value if it has hardly got any DA and has almost no backlinks pointing to it. Even a 6 month old domain with excellent organic backlink will trump a 15 year old domain with crappy backlink profile.

Age is only one ranking factor and it's not always a positive one. A lot of old domains have been burned for abusing old school methods like spammy links, doorways and mass scraped content. So make sure you look for signs of past penalties/devaluations first. And skip PR, it's a worthless metric. You'll learn more just by looking at their current backlinks.
