GPT Sites

Hello there. I'm Rob and I'd like to know everyone's thoughts regarding "Get Paid To" (GPT) sites in general. I originally never gave them any consideration because the general consensus appeared to be that they were all scams. However I met somebody who insisted I go and check one specific website out. That site's name is CashCrate. So I went and joined the site with rather low expectations...

Jumping ahead, I've been a registered member with CashCrate since July 2014. I go by the username AppoholicsAnonymous there and to date I have actually earned around $10,000 with them. I realize this may seem very hard to believe but it is true. You may have seen seen people proclaiming that it is a scam or that they don't pay enough cash per survey for it to be worth your time. I have also read reviews from people stating there isn't any surveys or offers on there for them.

I don't want to speak for anybody else and I choose to respect everyone's own personal opinion, I would certainly like to share my own experiences by linking to a few of my posts I started on CashCrate's own community forum if that is alright. CashCrate Forums - Search Results

I would like to encourage everybody to read my personal experiences and threads about CashCrate and then come to your own conclusions. Please share your thoughts afterward here, or there, and lets have a community discussion. Thank you.

There are legit GPT sites out there. I know a lot of people think that they don't pay out and stuff, but that's not the real concern, because a lot actually do. My main concern is how many hours do you have to put in to get the money. That's how your judge a program's worth.

If you started in July 2014, then it's been 10 months since you joined. $10k in 10 months isn't bad when you hear about it. But how many hours did you do grueling activities for?

I don't do any surveys or offers there at all. I make 99.9% of my earnings there from their referral program. I get 30% of everything anyone in my down-line makes with cash offers and $0.05 for every survey they take. I also get a $1 bonus each time someone joins under me and completes a survey or an offer.

Oh okay. So you meant making as an affiliate, not actually getting paid to. So, getting paid to refer people who get paid to do things lol

But it still comes down to how many hours of work you did. I come Australia, where our minimum rate is pretty darn high. Which has made me extremely snobbish to work under it in a long term situation XD

Correct and good point at the same time. Yes I did put forth many hours actually getting to where I am today with it. Referrals don't come from nowhere and it's not easy to recruit people to sign up under you no matter what site we are talking about. If you notice my username there you will see what I focus on to market my referral link. Mobile apps.. It's not hard to do but it does take time. Many others who do well there build blogs and know how to generate traffic to them.

Now I am at a point where I don't have to do much work anymore there to keep the new members coming in. My apps are built and ranked pretty high. Same could be said for the good bloggers on there. Now it's one of those set-it-and-forget-it things that generates decent recurring income for me.

Most of the surveys are only available to people in the US, the UK, Canada and Australia unfortunately. Not sure why that is but it seems to be the same across all of the GPT sites. When recruiting members from other countries I try to let them know this from the get-go and try to steer them toward the referral program there in order to make money.

Forgot to mention..

I forgot to mention that I also ended up winning their annual holiday contest with referrals alone. It was one of those month-long points contests where each survey or cash offer you completed paid 20 points, other activities like cash tasks and playing games were worth 10 points and every referral was worth 5 points. At that time I already had a steady stream of referrals coming in daily. They paid out prizes and cash to the top 50 people. I ended up getting an iPad Air II for taking first place. Not to shabby really for an online contest.

Old played out system and you'd make more money signing up to the affiliate networks themselves such as cpalead, no reason to use another middle man

XX Rob I signed up thru your link to that site.... I need a few trade secrets to get refferals like you do so we both can make some cash???
