Not that I need to worry about such things but if I did would probably use :
For telephone calls I would use a pay phone. For long text messages I would use a pen and the US postal service For when I'm at the cabin I use our walkie talkies and vhf radio For Internet communications I just don't transmit anything that could be used against me. |

For work -- internally: A private VPN TLS(https) chat server.
The problem with using public IM networks with something like Pidgin OTR is that both (all) participants have to be using OTR - XMPP WIKI OTR will not work with any casual contact. Also users would be restricted to the clients supported: note the absence of Skype, Yahoo, ICQ , etc.. |
