I've always thought Leo and Depp were two of the best actors of my generation. It took the pirate movies for Depp to finally get any recognition but man he also has a laundry list of great performances as well. He's just not the strong action front man that Leo is. I remember seeing that in the Pirate movies Depp wasn't even supposed to be the main char but rather Orlando Bloom was but Depp sent it over the top and stole the first movie and there for the rest of them.
