After spending a few weeks in France on business, a buddy of mine from Dallas who has probably always been the most racist of all my friends started saying 'African-American' when referring to black people from the US. He apparently had such a good experience working with his black French co-workers, that he did not want to lump them into the same category as 'African-Americans' by referring to them all as 'black'. So now he basically uses 'African-American' as a slur. lol Just goes to show that the words themselves are largely irrelevant.

So if she was the cop and he was in handcuffs and he kicked her then are you saying she also should not have struck back? I would say his kick was a bit excessive but his initial strike back was entirely warranted. She is an abusive female and he was the victim.

I think the initial strike was pure reaction without thought to it being a woman, just a criminal who kicked him. I think his kick was half hearted and he realized, wait, this is a woman.

These people should not be allowed to continue to be cops. The only time a cop should be allowed to punch a male or female in cuffs is if the person bites or spits on a cop. With the threat of aids and other easily transmitted diseases I can see a cop hitting a girl that spits in his face but come on.. a drunk girl kicks a cop so he hits her in the face then kicks her?

Cops today are way out of control.. I could tell you a story a out a cop telling me to hang up the payphone and step away from the booth as the cop had his hand on his gun but if this happened today not over 10 years ago I would've been shot today.. or at least beat and tasered.
