Too late they're all dying. But if you still must know there's this: How to Build a Tube Site- 14 Easy Steps (with Pictures) - wikiHow

You can just order a script. You will need to add videos, manage ads and generate traffic.

1) Get Mech Bunny, or Kernel Video Shering, I would recommend the first script
2) Get videos for the site, it can be from sponsors (check out Signbucks.com), or you can pay for them too, to save time
3) Add videos to the site, and create custom titles for all of them, you can add descriptions too, but this is not necessary
4) Add advertising banners, from something like Adamo Ads, or Exoclick, and affiliate banners to paysites, related to the content of your site
5) Add other sources of income, like paid video site, could be white label, link to a white label sex shop, paysite offers, adult games, it can be anything. Add a popunder too, if you want to make a little bit more money.
6) Work on seo
7) You can do competition research, through something like SimilarWeb.com, to see how things work.

Dont work on shitty sites, as it does not make sense, and it will take you nowhere. Focus on one good website, and work on that, probably for years.

If you're going all in and buying a tube script this is by far the most solid and versatile. Matyko has always been helpful here :thumbsup

You can try buy and sell. Some left over tubes are up for sale there. It might be a good start.

ownedbox 05-15-2015 06:50 PM

DBS.US 05-15-2015 06:53 PM

Thanks everyone. Will be checking a few of these out.

For tube you need to know Linux, hosting, and server administration, so you can get good plan with unlimited bandwidth, and cheap. Then you need to have a program, and Mech Bunny is good, as far as people are saying, I dont have it personally yet. Then you need to have clips, if you want to host them yourself, I think this is better, but people make embed sites too. You can either get them for free, which probably takes a lot of time, or buy them, which costs money, so this is not very good. After that you can look at something like SimilarWeb.com, to see where people get traffic, and how things work (like traffic from NudeVista.com, or OvGuide.com, lets say). This is quite expensive, and it may take time to go over it too. Working on seo, could be probably good too, and this costs money, and takes time. Links dont stay up forever too. Then you want to make money from working on this, I am assuming...

I havent worked on this yet, but I think it is very hard, to make money. You need to have a lot of clips, update daily, or maybe rotate videos, I am not sure. Maybe somebody can say more about it. I would not work on a tube...

# # #
sheer.tv - this is a nice tube site, that I remember. I think it is old, at least five or six years old. 6,000 people a day. What kind of money does this make? Bravo Media Group tubes are standing out too, they look like a profitable thing. And then you have all the big ones, obviously.

Anybody making money with tube sites? Translating one site to multiple languages can be a good strategy too.

# # # Edit2:

a) get cheap server with a lot of storage, and unlimited bandwidth
b) buy 100,000 clips
c) add unique title to each
d) get SimilarWeb.com for one month, and see where people get their traffic from

This could be expanded to unlimited number of tubes, with the same clips and unique titles, with Mech Bunny, one admin - multiple sites module. Any site could be translated to 10 different languages, to get more traffic from search.

Would this make money? And here, just like another topic, money comes from banner ads, popunder, could be some affiliate sales (1 per 100,000 hits, or whatever it could be / is). Does it make sense?

This sounds like a good direction, for tubes, I think.

DansMovies (DM) - Free Porn Videos

They seem to know what they are doing. This is Mech Bunny based, since some time too. I remember Dans Movies was popular, even like 10 years ago, where it was TGPX based. How do they do it, how to get from nowhere to the top (#355 adult site, by SimilarWeb.com). It looks like they are buying a lot of traffic, and this is why the stats are good. How much money a website like this may make?

Does not seem hard, get good server, Mech Bunny, add some kind of clips every day, even short, and be buying traffic. But does it make money for them, do they count on direct traffic increase?

This is again, a popunder, banner and other types of ads from places like Ero Advertising, and Exoclick, affiliate links... They pay for traffic... In the end, does it look like it is making a lot of money, to you?

I don't think these sites make a lot of money. Of course, it depends on what you consider a lot of money. LOL

There seems to be 3 types of tubes: set and forget scraper tubes (embeds from other sites), the mega tubes (out of reach for the average webmaster) and the mid-level tubes, ones where you 'work' the site every day adding titles, clips, working a Content Partner Program, etc.

The set 'n forget tubes probably make anywhere from a tiny amount (few dollars a week) to maybe a couple hundred a week, tops. (Of course, if you have 50 such sites....) The top mega tubes we can speculate all day long what they make....

So is it possible to make six figures with a mid-size tube? THAT is the real question (to me).

License it, buy it, get it from Sponsers, start a Content Partner Program.

And user upload it. Haha! Kidding. :)

AdultSites 05-16-2015 02:21 PM

Scraper tubes, I would not be interested in, as clips get deleted from there, and there is also duplicate titles issue, and it sounds like a lot of mess. I've seen a network of embed tubes, and they were not getting too much traffic. On the other hand video-one.com is an embed too, and it is like #34 adult website, in the World. Again, I have not worked on tubes yet. I would get like 1,000 top tubes by Alexa Rank, and could be 1,000 by SemRush Rank, and look at them through something like Similar Web, see where they get their traffic from, and how things work.

Tubes dont seem to be very good for seo, as it is not easy to add keywords to these sites. You pretty much add videos, and describe them, and like you said, it could be an every day work. To me, this sounds like buying traffic, trying to break even with income from ads, watching these videos, in order to describe them, and in general like not the best path to take, but I am not sure. On the other hand tubes should not be bad for seo, as this is what ranks for a lot of xxx keywords, but I am not sure. Tubes does not sound like something for me, at this point.

Mid level tubes sounds like something good, something like Bravo Media Group, but again, this takes a lot of every day work.

Fooxy.com seems to be good too, by the way, I just looked at their stats. I think that DansMovies.com and Fooxy.com people have somethig to do with dlxer.com, but I am not sure, or people from Smart Scripts. DansMovies.com and Fooxy.com are long time "icons" of online porn.

Man I never heard of these 'icons' of porn! LOL I spend too much time working and not enough time surfing I guess. :) Is Friendster still around? My Space? LOL

But as for everyday work I think the biggest amount of work is the titles and descriptions. All that typing. I have not played around with tube scripts much yet but my thinking is always: if you see thousands of these sites then it can't be that hard because the world (and Internet) is made up mostly of morons. So if a moron can do it I certainly can (being a gigantic moron myself).

It comes down to how much work, time and effort (and money) do you want to put into a project? I am considering it simply because I need my own traffic sources and have tons of clips already in my Network of 84 paysites. If I get even a sale a day it will be profitable for me. :)
