I had ordered the Amazon Echo but after thinking about it.... It pretty much does what my cell phone does, and I don't use my cell phone to it's full potential. (So I canceled my order.)

It's only a matter of time before this becomes standard in the home.

Honestly that looks awful. The amazon echo seemed more useful.

i think its a great device only if you could hook it up with youur home appliances using api , so can control majority appliances using voice.

i dont think it will be that much great as advertised as it looks like its going to find faces and people actions using the video feed and its pretty heavy work for small CPU, so there will be huge latency issue, i guess.

on the other hand alexa , only processes voice which doesnt requires that much cpu power.
