Affiliate emails: No unsubscribe link, reply to address bounces....marking as spam.

If Gmail blocks you globally for it, oh well. <shrug>

Why would you not have an unsubscribe link or at least accept unsubscribe replies?

To be CAN-SPAM compliant, they should have the unsub link in there, as well as their mailing contact address. It sounds to me like they are not formatting their emails properly, assuming you give them the benefit of the doubt this is not malicious.

:2 cents:

About half of the programs I promote don't have it. Many times I have tried to be nice and thoughtful, hitting up the AM, telling about the issue. Very few seem to understand or care if I mark them as spam, which I would rather not.

The unsubscribe link is required to be CAN-SPAM compliant.

We have a lot of programs that use YNOT Mail to email their members, past and present, and they usually use it to email affilaites. It's super easy to add in an unsubscribe link - just clicking on a button to add it in - and it helps so much with getting into inboxes AND makes you CAN-SPAM compliant.

Easy.

Check their tos. It's probably mentioned in there as to the why's.

You can also add an ubsubscribe link if using NATS. I've said it before and I'll say it again: the majority of people in the adult industry are incompetent idiots. They cannot even be bothered to learn the laws that apply to them.

It is why 3% of the people make 97% of the money.

Just mark them as "phishing attacks" and pass on to Google.
