Visually Appealing Picture Galleries
 

I am having a hard time coming up with a visually appealing picture gallery design for my new site I am launching. This will be the section of photos associates with the scene.

Any one out there have any examples of what they like?

Issue is making portrait & landscape look good together.

Have a look at how PicHunter is doing it. I think they did a great job.

For example:

Granted there could be some additional work with imagemagick on the thumbs, but the fluid design works well on various devices.
