Go Canucks :winkwink:

2MuchMark 06-02-2015 04:18 PM

If Americans beat any Canadians at any sport its because we let you win. Here I'll prove it - Go Team USA! (Lol!) Go Team USA (Lol!) Go Team u s a ....

Phoenix 06-02-2015 04:23 PM

Wonder how many Canadian players are on that team......

MetaMan 06-02-2015 04:23 PM

Canadians generally do not care. I can't stand the majority of the Canadian teams. I would rather have an American team win compared with most Canadian teams.

Spunky 06-02-2015 05:13 PM

We are used to it,Best of luck but I think they have to beat Chicago first

dyna mo 06-02-2015 05:21 PM

Too bad hockey sucjs, my buddy has a box for the Anaheim ducks and the LA team, I'm pretty sure both of them dominate. I've been to a few of the matches.

SilentKnight 06-02-2015 07:37 PM

Even as a Canadian...the Bruins have always been my team.

As a kid, my hockey hero started his career wearing No. 2 for the Oshawa Generals (we lived there around that time).

He wore No. 4 when the Bruins drafted him.

huey 06-02-2015 07:50 PM

10 Canadians on team. More than any other country so still like a Canadian team.

I don't really follow hockey or any other sports team at all. But I've seen a couple of games with Montreal vs Boston and even for me, they are pretty exciting to watch. Lots of Montrealers love the Bruins.

More pussy at a hockey game, so easy to score. Baseball not so much. Football waste of time. Hockey pussy all over wanting to fuck.

To entertain all the "Snowbirds" while they winter down there. Surprised Tim Hortons haven't blanketed the State yet

PR_Glen 06-03-2015 05:49 AM

This should be a great series. CBH should win, but don't sleep on the TBL. Some very underrated talent on that team and also Stamkos is a beast.

The best is when dumb dumb Americans chant USA USA USA at a hockey game when most hockey teams have very few Americans on them haha.

Sexier 06-03-2015 08:22 AM

We already know how to sing the USA national anthem.. how many in florida know the Canadian?

Yes a 9 - 2 loss

CDSmith 06-03-2015 09:13 AM

Let's take a quick tally shall we?....

TAMPA BAY LIGHTNING
Forwards:
Drouin - CANADIAN
Killorn - CANADIAN
Morrow - CANADIAN
Paquette - CANADIAN
Stamkos - CANADIAN
Angelidis - CANADIAN
Marchessault - CANADIAN
Defense:
Barberio - CANADIAN
Coburn - CANADIAN
Garrison - CANADIAN
Jon Cooper (coach) - CANADIAN

Yeah I'm gonna go ahead and say I feel pretty good if they win. But I think you might reaching a bit on that as well. :D

Blackhawks have a pretty hefty number of Canukians on their roster too, including a few Winnipeggers. You might know them. Toews, Sharp, Duncan Keith -- all born here.

Other notable Canadians on their squad: Bickell, Crawford, Seabrook, Cumiskey, Vermette, Versteeg, Shaw, Richards, Desjardins, Danault, Carcillo.... and coach Quennville.

I think we're good either way. lol If anything you American fans should be thanking us.

And in all fairness I as a Jet fan have something to be thankful to the USA for, that being Dustin Byfuglien, Jacob Trouba, Drew Stafford and Blake Wheeler. If (when) we win the cup at least a small part of it will be yours.

Sid70 06-03-2015 09:36 AM

The deal is you keep Justin Bieber and don't let the Kardashian come up here.
And we will keep sending players down so you can win the cup...

No great competitors "let" someone else win. That just doesn't happen. Heck I couldn't even let the two kids I played whack-a-mole against win. And one of them was mine.

But you can keep thinking that way if it gets you through the game. =)

*ps* I get it now. You let us win because you let us have your players. Very nifty. I know nothing about hockey but now I know a little more than I did.

Time for Canadian team to win. How come it takes so long? Besides that there are less Canadian teams. Even by random odds you should have won a time or two since 96.
Unless Canadian teams have lower budgets thus weaker squads?

Go TB Lightning!

Kings didn't make it to the playoffs this year, which sucks, but I'll be damned if Chicago snags another!

Ah yes, the venerable Tony Mooseposito.

Only Terry Woodchuk, uh, I mean Sawchuk, has more career shutouts.
