I have that Popular Mechanics "Debunking 9/11 Myths" book.

I have no doubt in my mind that you would own that. :)

Cool book to have, but I gave up. "Truthers" believe their own thing, and you can't change their minds no matter what.

Jesus Christ. The guy that made made that video probably dropped dead short after. He's breathing hard and snorting the whole time. I guess that's what comes from spending all your time on the Internet being a "truther".

The video itself is hilarious. It's the EXACT game plan "truthers" use when trying to prove their point. Try to talk intellectually with them and watch the name calling begin. How do they answer your questions? With another question. If you do the same its because you don't have an answer and just proved their point. Ya know, sort of the definition of "trolling".

They lost all credibility the day one of them said no planes flew into the buildings. Lol. Ok.

I also have the 9/11 Committee report as well.

I don't get the "truther" movement. It's very easy to make accusations claiming something isn't what it appears to be without having any proof, and asking the other side to defend itself. In the end you have entire discussions and debates about things that have no relevance to what happened.

I love the discussions about how "nano thermites" were discovered at the WTC site. Well.... The main ingredients of thermite are rust and powdered aluminium. The buildings were steel structures with aluminium cladding. The majority of the buildings were turned to dust/powder. So, it would be expected to have large quantities of powdered aluminium and powdered iron-rust in the dust. Something would be more seriously wrong if these ingredients were not found in the dust.

I also enjoy the discussions about the temp of the fire and how it wasn't enough to melt steel. Let's just accept this is correct.... The fire didn't need to melt steel, only bend it.

It is fun to debate, especially over beers. There is one thing that is interesting though: For me being liberal minded, it would be really easy for me to say that Bush / Cheeny planned the whole thing, but I can't. I also can't look at the buildings collapsing and see a controlled demolition like Truthers claim. When I see them fall, I seem the fall due to stresses on the buildings caused by damage, fire, and gravity. They do not even remotely look like controlled demolitions.

Everyone will see exactly what they CHOOSE to see...

and NO ONE HERE REALLY knows the truth...or EVER will... and THATS the truth... :thumbsup

What a dumbass. Like all these idiots, they want to say that if you think their argument s are retarded, then you believe 100% everything that is told to you. Their arguments are so weak to begin with, that a conspiracy nut has to begin by mischaracterizing anything and everything you say.

If you're a conspiracy nut, pay attentions.... You arguments being rooted in paranoid delusions and devoid of reason and logic.and facts, doesn't mean the other is wrong about anything. Those are two separate conversations.

I don't have to believe ANYTHING anyone says to believe your arguments are deeply flawed.
