Popcorn Time, the infamous app for streaming video torrents, now has a naughty cousin: Porn Time. As you might expect, Porn Time handles pornographic movies for you: instead of using a torrent client and a media player, the app handles grabbing the torrent file, downloading the content, and the playback all in one.

Porn Time is currently available for Windows, Mac, and Linux. The developers say they are planning to release Android and iOS versions, just like Popcorn Time, in the next week or so.

“Porn Time works exactly the same as Popcorn Time does, only the content is all porn,” the lead developer told VentureBeat. “Porn Time users can enjoy the latest, hottest, porn movies instantly and in HD quality, with just a click of a button. Just like with Popcorn Time, the content can be cast directly to the big screen with Chromecast or Airplay.”

The developers point out that the Internet is for porn, but at first glance Porn Time’s launch doesn’t make a lot of sense. After all, unlike Hollywood movies and mainstream TV shows, high-quality pornography is readily available to stream for free online. There are plenty of sites that serve pornographic videos without having users sign up, download, or pay anything.

Yet Popcorn Time’s developers says that their users have been requesting a porn version (“it’s all over Popcorn Time’s social channels” apparently). And so, over a year after Popcorn Time debuted, Porn Time has been built using Popcorn Time code.

Porn Time currently uses pornleech as its main source for torrents, but more sources will be added over the next few months. Just like Popcorn Time, Porn Time is an open source project (the source will be posted “very soon”), and the developers hope the community will help with the app’s features and content.

While Porn Time is not likely to be anywhere near as popular as Popcorn Time, it’s a stark reminder of the developers’ dedication to the concept. Apps that make downloading and watching torrents easier than ever are here to stay.

This seems like a great idea. Sure, why not install an app provided by someone in the adult industry. There's absolutely no chance that this thing would be loaded with malware. No, none at all.

Well thats good news. Until last week or so it would go to 3-4 pop ups. one of them ero advertising and one a film site...FILMON TV FREE LIVE TV MOVIES AND SOCIAL TELEVISION

that uses this app, Anakando Media Group - javinn was aggregating to a channel like site using their platform. I guess they caught on.

javinn will be up again though. Its up and down for 2-3 years now along with a bunch of other sites owned by same people.

It's unsurprising that the Popcorn Time codebase has been directed to porn, what's surprising is that it took this long for someone to do it.

The number of dedicated porn trackers has exploded exponentially in the last 12 months. Most of them are private, however there's a few large public ones that have a good following.
